Blizzard Warning Issued in United States: Major Winter Storm Targets East Coast

United States Weather Update: A powerful winter storm has triggered a Blizzard Warning across parts of the United States East Coast, including New York City, New Jersey, Long Island, Connecticut, and Delaware.

The National Weather Service (NWS) warns that this late-season nor’easter could bring heavy snowfall between 1 to 2 feet in some areas, along with strong winds and dangerous travel conditions.

Snowfall Forecast & Wind Speeds

Forecasters predict snowfall rates of 1–2 inches per hour during peak storm hours. Wind gusts could reach up to 50–55 mph, leading to whiteout conditions and possible power outages.

The heaviest snowfall is expected from Sunday night into Monday morning, creating hazardous road conditions and flight disruptions.

New York City may receive 10–20 inches of snow. Coastal flooding is also possible in low-lying areas due to strong winds and high tides.
